OBITUARY :
AUSTIN BAUGHER HELSER, Mr. Helser was born in Frederick, Md., April 2, 1918, son of George and Anna B. (Miller) Helser. His early life was lived in Frederick.

Mr. Helser served with the U.S. Army in Italy during World War II.

He and Mrs. Helser were married in January 1938, and had lived in Pen Mar for the past 25 years.

He learned his trade as core maker at Landis Machine Co. and for the passed 15 years was employed in the foundry at Landis Tool Co.

Mr. Helser was a member of American Legion Post 239, Cascade; the VFW of Waynesboro and Local 110 , International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He was also a life member of the ATH&L Fire Co.

In addition to his widow, Mrs. Thelma G. (Morrow) Helser, he is survived by four daughters and a son, Miss JoAnn Helser and Tommy G. Helser, both at home; Mrs. Barbara Pryor, Rio Dell, Calif.; Mrs. Teresa Wedekind, Pisa, Italy, and Miss Trudy Helser, Waynesboro. Also surviving are eight grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. in the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Terry L. Downin. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
