Peter Ian Nash Age 66, of Newark, DE, formerly of Unionville, PA, died on Sunday, October 22, 2000 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.
He was the husband of Mary White Nash, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.
Born in England, he was a son of the late Richard F. and Dorothy Walcroft Nash.
Mr. Nash worked 11 years at the Royal Danish Embassy in London, England, and 16 years for Mrs. Miles Valentine of Unionville, PA as a butler and chauffeur.
He was a member of St. Malachi Roman Catholic Church in Doe Run, PA and St. Peter's Catholic Church in New Castle, DE.
Mr. Nash loved fishing and gardening.
Survivors include, in addition to his wife: One son: Peter M. "Mic" Nash of Charleston, SC; three brothers: Maurice Nash of Buckinghamshire, England, Ronald Nash of Vancouver, Canada, and Andrew Nash of Buckinghamshire, England.
He was pre-deceased by one daughter, Finola "Finny" Nash, who died in 1995.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM on Friday, October 27, 2000 at St. Malachi Roman Catholic Church, St. Malachi Road, Londonderry Twp., PA. Interment will be in St. Malachi Cemetery, Londonderry Twp., Doe Run, PA.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2000 at the KUZO & GOFUS FUNERAL HOME, Ltd., State & Meredith Sts., Kennett Square, PA and Friday, October 27, 2000 from 10 to 11 AM at the church.
