Arthur was the son of Joseph Bradford and Susan Cynthia Harris" Bradford. The couple lived in Oregon when he was born. Joseph and Susan had Six girls and six boys all together, Twelve Children.
Arthur was their second child, and their first~born son. He was born between sisters, Vina and Ethel. Sister, Viola Berneta Bradford verified to granddaughter Kathleen Marie Freitas that she was one of twelve total siblings!
After Joseph's dad Pioneer Joshua died in Union, Oregon, Joseph and Susan moved with their family to California. They ended up in Dayton, California where family were farmers.
