Mrs. Jenkins was born in Smithsburg, Maryland to the late Charles Clement Elmer and Annie Mae (Lewis) Kuhn. Mabel moved to Virginia as a teenager to work for Corrine White of White Shop Virginia. She later met Clarence Jenkins who she married on Jun 13, 1942. At the time of his passing, they were married for 63 years. For many years Mabel attended The Culpeper Free Methodist Church. She loved gardening where she spent many hours attending to her immaculate flower beds. She enjoyed cross stitch and embroidery and shared many pieces with her family and friends who still have them today. In her time of relaxation, she could be found listening to her favorite Blue Grass songs and working her puzzle games. She cherished her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She is already greatly missed by her family and those who knew her. Bio by Ms. Clyde)
