MORANN - Frank W. Gmerek, 62, a resident of Morann, died at the Philipsburg State Hospital, Saturday morning at 7:20 o'clock.
He was born February 14, 1892, and is survived by his wife, Kathryn; the following children, Mrs. Harry Koplin and Miss Margaret of Newark, N.J., John, Francis and Stevana at home; nine grandchildren and these brothers and sisters, John and Mrs. Mike Slifko, both of Morann, Mike, Sylvester and Mary, all of Akron, and Mrs. Leona Murawaki of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Requeim Mass will be sung tomorrow at 9 a.m. from the St. Barbaras Catholic Church in Houtzdale with Rev. Joseph Radziszewski officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at his home until time of services.
