Betty Taylor, 71, of Wichita, sister of Waunita McDermeit of Iola, died of a heart attack at her home Tuesday evening April 14, 1998.
On June 4, 1950 she married Murry Dean Taylor. He survives as do two sons, and a daughter, Two brothers, Willard Lockart of Lindsborg and Walter Lockart of Tulsa, Okla., another sister; and six grandchildren.
She was born April 28, 1926, near Carlyle the daughter of Elsworth and Hallie Banks Lockart. She grew up in the Iola and Colony area.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Epworth Methodist Church in Wichita.
Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Wichita.
Memorials are suggested to Epworth Methodist Church at Lincoln and Green Streets
in Wichita.
