While trying to help his brothers, Chad's life was taken suddenly and unexpectedly. As a Christian, Chad spoke of his Savior often, so Jesus was there waiting for him and took him to the mansion He had prepared for him. Devoted to his wife and a loving father to their daughter, Chad would tell you he was a "regular guy just taking care of business," and was happiest spending time with his family and friends. His family and friends can tell you he was a "rock", always there when needed, dependable and responsible, ready to grab you in his arms to let you know he loved you and everything would be all right. Chad is deeply missed by countless family members, friends, and neighbors. If he were here, Chad would look you straight in the eyes with a big smile on his face and tell you, "Trust my Lord and Savior with your life and eternity."

Chad graduated from Desoto High School in 1995 and worked as Facilities and Logistics Manager for Eagle Labs, Inc. in DeSoto. Survivors beside Leanne included: daughter Morgan; parents Don and Judy Littlefield; brother Jerry Richardson and wife Teresa; nephew Colten Richardson; niece Cami Richardson; grandmother Geraldine Conlan; aunts Dorothy Mitchell, Frances Cooper, Diana Cheek, Jean Doty; uncle Richard Mitchell; parents-in-law Tom and Kit Montgomery; brother-in-law John Montgomery and children Halee and Hayden. Visitation on February 7, 2013, at Midlothian Funeral Home with services on February 8, 2013, at First Baptist Church.
