Audrey L. Baxter, of Whiting, born Aug. 2, 1935, passed quietly on the afternoon of Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, surrounded by loved ones. Originally from Staten Island, she made her home with her husband, Roscoe Baxter Jr. in Lakewood and raised 3 children.
A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her son, Lawrence and his wife Maria; her daughter, Sharon; and her son, Andrew and his wife Dawn. The lights of her life - her 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren - will always remember fondly their 'lil grandma.' She is also survived by a very loving extended family that will miss her dearly.
