Samuel Olayinka Babalola Akiode was born on January 14, 1971 to the family of Elder and Mrs. David Afolabi Akiode.
Education: Mr. Akiode successfully secured a scholastic admission to the ever famous Ibadan Grammar School, Ibadan Nigeria but elected to attend African Church Grammar School (AFRO) Abeokuta, Nigeria between 1981 and 1985 for his High School education.
He graduated from Kebbi State Polytechnic Birnin, Nigeria in 1997 where he earned a National Diploma in financial studies (BA equivalent). In 1998, he worked at Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) to fulfill the industrial attachment obligation of his education.
In addition, Mr. Akiode attended Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot-Osurua Nigeria between 2002 and 2004 and earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy (MBA equivalent).
Professional exposure: Mr. Akiode worked at Glory Food and Drinks Packaging Company Ibadan from June 1999 to February 2002. Later, he worked with a Haulage company which is an affiliate of the Nigerian Breweries PLC through June 2012.
Hobbies: Mr. Akiode cherished authentic, spirit filled gospel music and entertained himself with sports especially soccer.
He departed the shores of Nigeria to join his wife in California, United States of America in July 2012. Mr. Samuel Olayinka Babalola Akiode is survived by a loving wife, parents, brother and sister.
