William Randolph Griffin, was a native of Kingsland, Ark., and was the son of the late Cairo and Ruth Ozment Griffin. His first wife, Maysell Griffin, and son, William Keith Griffin, preceded him in death. Mr. Griffin served in Korea with the U.S. Air Force and was a retired service engineer. He was a member of Oconee Heights Baptist Church. Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Linda Gulley Griffin, Colbert; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Steve Bates, Hull; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Cindy Griffin, Athens; step-daughters, Cathy Tolbert, Susan Simon, Andrea Dearnley and Mary Quigley; step-son, Daniel Quigley; brother, Shelby (Pap) Griffin, Kingsland, Ark.; sisters, Lavonne Shollenberger, Pennsylvania, Evelyn Clark, Kingsland, Ark., and Shirley Manus, Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandchildren, Casey, and wife, Catherine Bates, Shelley Bates, Taylor Griffin, Macy Griffin, Charlsie Griffin, Natalie Tolbert, Courtney Tolbert, Kayla Tolbert, Larisa Dearnley, Josiah Dearnley and Isaac Dearnley. He is deeply missed.
