James fought Revolutionary War with General George Washington, 1st President of the United States. James Lambert's wife was Elizabeth Anna Lewis. George Washington states in his diary that he dined at his friend Captain James Andrew Lambert's house in Georgia. James served on the Grand Jury for Burke county in 1786.
