Mrs. Beaver was born on October 19, 1923 in Hale County, Alabama. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of eight and was baptized on Easter Sunday, 1932 and served the Lord faithfully until her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Parr, Jr. and Martha Kanzada Hilton Parr; her husband, William Edward Beaver and granddaughters, Katherine Lois Beaver and Lisa Ann Lee.

Survivors include her brother, William Hilton Parr (Ora) of Trussville, AL; son, Edward Parr Beaver (Marilyn) of Valley Grande; daughters, Martha Janette Lee (Tom) of Valley Grande and Brenda Beaver Lester (Melvin) of Selma; grandchildren, James C. Dempsey (Amy) of San Antonio, TX, Mary Lisa Myers (Brian) of Dover, PA, Mark Edward Lee (Tonya) of Montgomery, Tami Lee Brown (Tony) of Cordova, TN, Carmen Michelle Yelle of Montgomery and Christina Ann Stokes (Josh) of Valley Grande; great-grandchildren, Drew Dempsey, Cory Dempsey, Holland Dempsey, Matthew Beaver, Tony Beaver, Marcel Beaver, Johnathan Myers, Zada Lee, Meritt Lee, Nathanel Brown, Nicolas Brown, Emma Brown, Caleb Lester, Brooklyn Pouncey, Hudson Pouncey and Myles Pouncey; niece, Susie Deal (Tommy) of Dalton, GA; nephew, Steve Parr (Nita) of Trussville and great-nephews, Andrew Parr (Katie), Benjamin Parr, Ragan Deal and William Deal.

Funeral services was held Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Clarke Skelton officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers were Will Langston, Wayne Labbe, Elijah Caver, Joe McConnell, Marc Ivey, Kirk Sims, Wayne Robinson, Bobby Moseley and Paul Gallion.
