(June 27, 2000 - January 14, 2013)

Dylan Scott Aranda, 12, left this earth and went to heaven on Monday, January 14, 2013.

He was born June 27, 2000 in Ogden, Utah the son of JD and Crystal Aranda.

Dylan touched many people's lives whether it was his family, friends, or complete strangers. None of those people will ever forget him by the moments they shared and the impression he left in their lives.

He enjoyed hanging out with his lizard, camping, swimming, boating, playing basketball, hunting, long boarding, air soft wars, playing his PS3, sleepovers, and hanging out with his friends. He especially loved riding motorcycles with his dad, snuggling with his mom and playing the wii with Taisee and Taten.

He is survived by his loving parents, Crystal and JD, sister Taisee, brother Taten, his lizard Meleeko, grandparents, Brian and Kathie Hull, Scott Barlow, Johnny and Debbie Aranda, Debbie and Dale Howell, a very special great-grandma Rice, many aunts, uncles and cousins, great-grandparents, friends, and Mingo.

He was greeted by his great-grandpa Edwards, great-grandpa Aranda and great-grandma Janene.

Dylan's parents would like to send a heartfelt thanks to his 5th grade teacher Miss Stacey Peterson and his 7th grade English/Reading teacher Mr. Jared Weight, who went the extra mile in uplifting Dylan and showing him the true meaning of love through teaching. The family would also like to thank all the friends and neighbors for their loving support.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
