William (Bill) Edward Holleyhead went to meet his Lord on Jan 13, 2013 at the age of 87. He was born on March 26, 1925 in Wilmington, NC and is survived by: son, Ron and wife Karen; son, Jim and wife Mary; daughter, Paula Brown and husband Mack; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Cleo, his wife of 63 years and daughter, Felice McCrum, preceded him in death. He enjoyed his family, ham radio, fishing, radio-controlled airplanes and his motorhome. Bill was an Eagle Scout and went to Naval Flight School at the end of WWII. After graduating from Georgia Tech, he worked for Chance Vought (LTV) for 37 years. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Visitation will be at Dalton & Son Funeral Home, 1550 N. Stemmons Freeway, Lewisville, TX from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, January 16. The funeral will be at the Dalton & Son Funeral Home Chapel at 10 am, Thursday, January 17. Interment will follow at 12:30 pm at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
