Violet Jane was the daughter of Thomas Morrison from Ontario, Canada and Mary T. Carter. Her parents both died pre 1900 and she was adopted legally by Armstrong Faught in 1900. She grew up with Jabez Faught whom she later married on Nov 20, 1902. Her and Jabez hosted the Faught family picnics at their ranch where genealogy was the theme but even more, it was a time for family.
