Carl B. Meyer was born October 20, 1902 in Brookfield, MI and went to be with the Lord April 13, 1997 in Tacoma. He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Bethany Open Bible Church. Carl built the original Benston Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Schiffner Meyer, and was recently preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Myrtle Meyer.
Survivors include his daughters, Jeannette (Billy) Reynolds and Carol (Paul) Kearney; sons, Harold (Jewell) Meyer, Ken (Mary Lee) Andrus, Gerald (Gail) Meyer, James Meyer and Duane (Joyce) Meyer; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 16, 1997 at 2:00 pm in the Tacoma Lutheran Home and Retirement Center's Chapel, 1301 N. Highlands Parkway, Tacoma. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
