Catherine E. Bauer, 65, of 25 Green Acres, Lebanon, Pa., formerly of Fulton, died July 30, 2003 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon.
Born in Fulton, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore "Sam" and Emogene "Mae" Doud Puglia. She was employed by the Veterans
Administration Medical Centers in Syracuse and Lebanon for over 40 years, holding the position of secretary to the chief of psychiatry. She
was valedictorian of the Fulton High School Class of 1955.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur Bauer of Lebanon; three daughters, Antoinette Tonkin of Oswego, Jo Tranelli of Jonestown, Pa, and Lucinda
Zink of Lysander; four stepsons, John Dunn, Jr. of Syracuse, Daniel Dunn of Annapolis, Md., Michael Bauer of Pennsylvania, and Forrest Todd
Bauer of Texas; a sister, JoAnn Bomiesl of Niskayuna; a brother, Samuel Puglia of Fulton; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
and three nieces.
Services were held Friday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial was in Martville Cemetery.
