Services For Former Resident

Mrs. Maude Burnor, formerly of Mojave, passed away recently. She and her family , lived at the L.A. Water and : Power community where her husband worked for 12 years. He died and was buried in Mojave Jan. 5, 1957. She was . laid to rest beside him Feb. 9.Services were held in Oxnard ,where she lived, under the auspices of J.A. Conrad and Sons at 10:00 a.m. and the body was brought to Mojave for internment in the afternoon. She is survived by four daughters and one son; Mrs. Geraldine Abrahams of Oxnard, Mrs. Donna Olson and Mrs. Linda Howell both of Alaska; Mrs.Glenda Vittoria of Lancaster and Vernon Howell also of Lancaster; mother, Mrs. Goodwin, sisters and a brother of Eastern Canada; and 14 grandchildren. She is mourned by many friends in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, whom she was associated with.
