Mewhorter, Eleanore M. Age 89 of Spring Lake Park, passed away from colon cancer on 3/24/11. Preceded in death by husband, Clarence; brother, John; sister-in-law, Sarah and brother-in-law, Darryl. Survived by children, Bruce (Debbie) Mewhorter, Mark Mewhorter (Brad Carlson), Judy (Ed) Grant; 7 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren; and 2 great-great- grandchildren; sister, Gladys; many nephews, nieces, family members and friends. Eleanore was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest pride was her family, home and especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. Memorial service Friday, April 1 at 11 AM with a visitation 1 hour prior at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park 763-560-3100. A special "Thank You" to the caregivers at the St. Anthony Health Care Center.
