Mrs. Abe Kingsley, 70, of 317 3rd Ave. NW, died Monday at St. Marys Hospital after a year's illness with cancer.

The former Leona Chapel was born Sept. 2, 1896, at Money Creek in Houston County near Rushford, and was married there to Mr. Kingsley Jan. 15, 1916. They moved to Rochester in 1923 after living at Dover. Mr. Kingsley, a former hospital orderly, died last December.

She is survived by two sons, Glen and Gerald, both of Rochester; eight grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ruben Loppnow of Winona. A sister and five brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ranfranz Funeral Home with the Rev. Merrill Beale of the Congregational Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ranfranz Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of services. Post-Bulletin, Rochester, Tuesday, July 18, 1967
