William G. Geary, 97, of White Star Route, died Saturday evening at his home. He was born Aug. 17, 1880 in Bullskin Township, son of the late Chauncey and Eliza Knopsnider Geary. He was a retired township supervisor, farmer, and timberman. He is survived by two sons, Eugene of Powell, Wyo., and Homer of White; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Edith) Tyree of Canoga Park, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; a number of great and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, George Geary of Fayette City; and one sister, Mrs. Alice Butt of Bobtown. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Frieburg Geary; five sons, Roy, Wade, Carl, Chauncey, and Stanley, and three daughters, Hazel, Eva, and Dollie.
