DAVID BLASSINGAME ARIAIL
D. B. Ariail, 62, died at his home in Birmingham, Ala., Wednesday according to news received by relatives here. He had been in bad health for some time, but the exact particulars of his death have not been learned.
Mr. Ariail was the son of the late W. H. and Damie Robinson Ariail. He is survived by his wife and two children, also the following brothers and sisters: Mr. Tom Ariail, Mrs. J. C. Walker, Mrs. W. B. Hester, all of Easley; Mrs. J. M. Allison and Mrs. Kate Ariail Andrews of Atlanta.
Funeral services were held in Birmingham Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
Mr. Ariail was born and reared in Pickens County but had lived in Birmingham for 30 years. He was a man of sterling qualities and was a Christian gentleman. At the time of his death he was a mechanic for the Southern Railway.
Mr. Tom Ariail and son, Doyce, left Wednesday to attend the funeral rites. They were joined in Atlanta by Mrs. Allison and Mrs. Andrews.
