Funeral services were held at 10:30 Saturday, December 8 for Olvis Dren "Boss" Adams at the Ravia Baptist Church with Rev. J.D. Leavelle officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Ravia Cemetery.

Mr. Adams died December 5, 1990 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was born December 27, 1912 in Marshall County to Joe Robert and Nancy C. Hawkins Adams.

He married Thelma Williams March 7, 1962 and was an oil field worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Adams; one daughter, Patsy Rector; and four brothers, Bob, Jim, Lonnie and Pete Adams.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma of the home in Madill, two sons, Wendyl Adams of Madill and Joe Adams of Oklahoma City; one step-son Jimmy Hurst of Coleman; two step-daughters, Donna Prinz of Burleston, TX and Sharon Woodrum of Ravia; one sister, Hazel Carney of Ravia; 21 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 15 great grandchidren and two great-great grandchildren.
