Funeral Is Set

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from LaGrone-Ingram Funeral Chapel for Wilfred H. Foster, 68, of 1509 N. Delaware Ave. The Rev. James R. Peters of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church will officiate. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Odessa Boris, organist, and Leon Wagner, soloist. Burial will be in the South Park Cemetery under the direction of the LaGrone-Ingram Funeral Chapel. Military Graveside services will be conducted by members of the American Legion. Mr. Foster died at 2 p.m. Tuesday of natural causes in his home. He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. (Sarah Larson) Foster on April 27, 1906 in Souris, N.D. Foster was married to Muriel Melvin Foster on Oct. 18, 1941 in St. John's, New Foundland. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and attended the Presbyterian church. Foster had been a resident of Roswell and Chaves County for 28 years. He is survived by his wife, one son, Howard Foster, one daughter, Julia Foster of Roswell, and one sister, Mrs. Mabel Smith of Souris, N.D.

Grandchildren: Christopher Foster Cruz, and Robert Cruz.
