At her request, no services will be held for Muriel Hensley, 90, who died Sunday at her home after being injured in an auto accident Feb. 16.

She was born in Alameda County and lived in Sonoma County about 40 years. For 34 years, she was a teacher in schools, including Bellevue, Stewarts Point, Spy Rock in Mendocino County, and Coyote Valley.

She was a member of the National Retired Teachers Association and the California Retired Teachers association.

She is survived by her son; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations to the American Heart Association are preferred by the family.

Friends may call at the family home, 36581 Piner Road, after 1 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Daniels Chapel of the Roses was in charge of arrangements.
