A friend sends this paper a newspaper clipping, which tells of the death of Frank H. Barrow, in Washington, D.C., on May 12. Mr. Barrow was the son of the late Rev. Robert C. Barrow of Tecumseh, his father being a pioneer Christian minister of Nebraska, and his mother is still living in Wyoming. The deceased was long in newspaper work in Nebraska and Wyoming, and he secured a theological education and qualified for the ministry, his education being secured at Cotner university, Bethany. In the early 90s Mr. Barrow operated a newspaper in Bennet. For a time he was associated with his brother, the late Merris C. Barrow, in the publication of "Will Barlow's Budget," at Douglas, Wyo., Merris Barrow becoming nationally known through his writings of "Sage Brush Philosophy," and the publication of a magazine. Frank Barrow was in the newspaper business at Meeteese, Wyo., for a time, and some twelve years ago he was appointed to a government position in Washington, D.C., where he had lived since. He was latter secretary to Congressman Frank W. Mondell of Wyoming, and upon the retirement of Mr. Mondell, Mr. Barrow became secretary to his successor, Congressman Charles E. Winter. In December 1923, Mr. Barrow left the employ of Mr. Winter, and returned to a position he had previously held for a short time, legislative clerk for the majority floor leader, serving under Hon. Nicholas Longworth. This place he was filling at the time of death. Mr. Barrow was aged fifty-four years, and he had been twice married. There is a daughter by the first marriage who is married and living in Montana. A son, Robert, is the fruit of the second marriage, and he is now twelve years old and a musical prodigy. One brother of the deceased, Clote M. Barrow, lives in Kansas, and a sister, (Nellie) wife of Elsie Combs, lives at Douglas, Wyo.
