Bill married Lavona Pettit on October 18, 1936, at Glasgow. He was survived by his wife; sons James W. of Ottumwa and Gary of West Burlington; three grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd Blucher of Hedrick; and a sister, Margie Graf of Lockridge.
