Frances Eloise Allen, 70, former Guymon resident, died in her home in Colorado Springs, Tuesday, July 3rd, 1990. The daughter of Elba and Temple Harris, she was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Leon, Kan. After graduating high school in Garden City, Kan, she married Robert L. Allen Oct. 6, 1939, at Elkhart, Kan. The Allen family made their home in Guymon in 1941. After retirement in 1966 the Allen's moved to Colorado Springs. She was a member of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church of Guymon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1976, one daughter, and one brother. Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Perkins of Colorado Springs; one son, Blake Allen of Colorado Springs; and three grandchildren who live in Guymon.
A memorial service will be held at Victory Memorial United Methodist Church Sunday at 2 pm. with Rev. Mike Chaffin officiating. Services are under the direction of Henson Funeral Home of Guymon.
A Frances Allen Memorial has been established for the Make a Wish Foundation of
Colorado, 7535 E. Hampden Ave., Suite 600, Denver, Colo., 80237. Memorials will be accepted at the Henson Funeral Home. The family has requested friends and relatives make memorial contributions in lieu of flowers.
