Obituary:
JOSEPH W. FLOOD, 77, of Laurel Springs, died Saturday at Kennedy Memorial Hospitals/Cherry Hill Division.
Mr. Flood was a musician for almost 60 years and began his career leading his own band during the 1940s. He was later a drummer with the Don Christi Orchestra in Philadelphia and was a member of the Philadelphia Musicians Union Local 77. Mr. Flood was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, and was a member of the American Nurserymen's Association, the Washington Township Golf Course and the United States Golf Association. He had worked as a security guard for S.O.S. Operations in Parsippany.
Survivors: his wife, Eleanor Stevenson Flood; two sons, Francis of Berlin and Joseph Jr. of Lindenwold; three daughters, JoEla and Janet Kritikson both of New York, and Julie Hoffman of Sicklerville, and six grandchildren.
Services: friends may call, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. today, Ora L. Wooster Funeral Home, 51 Park Blvd., Clementon; Mass, 11 a.m. today, St. Lawrence's Church, White Horse Pike, Lindenwold.
Burial, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing.
