Mother SHARON J. GALLION. Charles D. "Chuck" Evans,28, 1519 W. Euclid Ave., died at 2:20 a.m. Monday in a motorcycle accident on Ind. 9 north of Marion. Mr. Evans was a lifetime resident of Marion. He was a graduate of Marion High chool and an honor graduate of ITT,Fort Wayne. He was an ASA certified mechanic and a former employee of Ball-Foster. He was an avid Jeff Gordon and Nascar fan, and he enjoyed motorcycles. In addition to parents, he is survived by a brother, Kenny,Marion; paternal grandmother, Delores, Marion; maternal grandmother, Ellen Gallion, Marion; five aunts, Ronda Thwaits, Marion, Bonnie Tarter, California, Eda Michaud, Georgia, Darlene Hoggatt, Warsaw, and Patty Crago(Mrs. Louie) Crago, Huntington; two uncles Vernon(Debbie) Gallion, Fairmount,and Marvin Gallion, Texas, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandfathers, Ernest Evans and Kenneth Gallion, and an aunt Pat Bronough. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Needham-Storey Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., with the Rev. Charles Staggs officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
