Martin A. Maugans, 85,
85, years old died at 12:45 o'clock yesterday morning, from general debility. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the I. O. O. F., Sioux Tribe of Red Men and the G. A. R.

Surviving are three sons, Frank, George and Richard Maugans, and a daughter, Miss Carrie M. Maugans, all of Hagerstown, and a brother, Jacob Maugans, Frederick county.

Rev. J. Edward Harms, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, will officiate at services at the home at 10:30 o'clock tomorrow morning. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
