Charles Edward Bain, 57, died peacefully at home with family by his side on Friday November 23, 2012 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Charles was born in Tucson, AZ. on May 6, 1955. He grew up in Gallup, NM and then moved to Flagstaff in 1990 with his family. Chuck worked as a conductor for the BNSF Railroad for 37 years.

Chuck was a caring, thoughtful, gentle, loving and devoted husband, dad and grandpa . He loved spending time with his family, especially his two grandchildren Lil Mario and Lyla, who brought him much joy. He enjoyed the outdoors, Lake Powell, spending time watching motorcycle races with his son Charlie, fishing, and playing video games.

He is survived by his wife Rita of 32 years. Daughter Amber (Mario) Banda, son Charles Jr., brother Donald, father Glenn, and grandchildren Lil Mario and Lyla Banda of Flagstaff. He is preceded in death by his mother Saundra.

Services to be held on Tuesday, Nov.27, 2012 at 10:00am at Norvel Owens Funeral Home, 914 E. Rte. 66, Flagstaff, AZ.
