Memorial information listed as FGraver Sherry Reynolds posted it before her passing:

Edward also went by his middle name Isydor/Izador/Izydor and at times Theodore. He married Rosalie Krawtzik. They raised their 7 children in Dickinson and Iron Counties, MI/Upper Pennsula near WI.

Edward listed his mother as NADLICK on his application for marriage. I understand from a living relative his biological mother moved to Shawano WI from Austria years earlier and married a farmer but I can't find anything in ancestry or google. Edward was brought up by his biological dad in Austria (Poland). In the mid 1880's, his biological mother who lived in Shawano married and sent for Edward to come to USA to help work on their farm. This didn't work out once he got there and he went to Iron Moutain MI to work.

He met his future wife, Rose, while she was doing domestic work in Iron Mountain, MI. She died in November 1909 of stomach cancer ,and Edward became solely responsible for raising their seven children.

Edward kept papers on his children (birth, etc) and when he died in January 1939, these papers were given to the Dickinson Couunty MI courthouse. Since the court house has birth, baptisim, etc papers, even a relative has to pay to get info.

Edward was a Polish immigrant who was not able to live with his children in his older life. Using his money to rear his children, he died in a nearby poor farm farm medical facility. His residence at the time of his death is shown as "infirmary." The cause of death is shown as mital insuffiencies aka stroke/heart attack.

Edward and his wife are buried in the Quinnesec cemetery with their daughter, Frances.

Unfortunately, the lot is not marked. Edward did make his wife a cross after she died; its purpose was to mark her grave as he didn't have much money while/after raising his children. The cross he made was taken off. Their lot is Block 14, Lot 5 per Breitung Clerk.

Edward is my maternal great grandfather.
