Douglas (Linda) Dickerson, and grandchildren, Michael and Misty Dickerson, all of Pueblo. Also survived by a sister, Mrs. Ruth Johnson, Pueblo; and a brother, Elmer Dickerson, Anaheim, Calif. Born Jan. 6, 1917, in Wyoming and had been a longtime Pueblo resident. Veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Mr. Dickerson graduated from the Capitol College of Pharmacy in 1938 and was the owner and operator of Potter Pharmacy in Pueblo for 32 years. Member of the VFW, life member of Pueblo Elks Lodge No. 90, the Pueblo County Pharmaceutical Association, and the Colorado Pharmaceutical Association. Mr. and Mrs. Dickerson were married Aug. 28, 1941, and had just celebrated their 45th anniversary. He will lie in state at the funeral home all day Sunday and Monday until 9 p.m. and until noon on Tuesday. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain View Cemetery with Dr. David Horton, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery. The family respectfully requests no food or flowers and those who desire may contribute to the First Baptist Church Youth Ministry in memory of Mr. Dickerson.
