NEWSOME [sic], aged 32 years on the 14th of last October, died at his residence, No. 1504 Tenth avenue at two o'clock yesterday afternoon, after a long illnesss. // He is survived by his wife, three children, two brothers and three sisters. The brothers are Messrs. J. K. and S. J. NEWSOM [sic; wife Minnie Lee (HUGULEY) NEWSOME], of this city; the sisters, Mrs. Mary JONES, of Hannan, Ala., Mrs. Lou LOCKHART and Mrs. Ada MOTE, both of Columbus. While not a member of any church he recently professed conversion, and said he was prepared to died. The funeral occurs from the late residence at three o'clock this afternoon."
