Mabel M. Abbott, 94, Topeka, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, at a Topeka nursing home.
Mrs. Abbott was a social worker for the State of Kansas in Topeka until she retired in 1969.
She was born April 22, 1904, in Topeka, the daughter of Louis P. and Della Watkins Heil. She graduated from Topeka High School and Washburn University.
Mrs. Abbott attended a Methodist church in Topeka.
She married Glenn Abbott. They were divorced.
Survivors include four nieces and a nephew.
