Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Eliza Clark, 68, an old resident of Sellwood, were held at Finley’s undertaking parlors August 20, Rev. Oswald W. Taylor officiating.

Mrs. Clark was born at Boston, Mass., in 1857. Fifteen years later she married Horatio Clark at San Francisco. They came to Sellwood 42 years ago.

Mrs. Clark is survived by four children – Alfred Robert Clark of Ogden, Utah; Arthur George Clark of Seaside, Or.; William Penn Clark of Reedsport, Or., and Mrs. Ethel May Thielemann of Portland – and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Clark made her home with her daughter, but died at the home of her son at Seaside.

Interment was at Greenwood cemetery by the side of her husband, who died 27 years ago.
