On November 8, 2012, Martha went to be with the Lord. Nearly a lifelong resident of Anderson, Indiana, Martha passed after a mishap at her residence and other, natural causes.

Martha was very involved in Bethany Christian Church as well a s Central Christian Church. Through service in Sunday School programs, choir, women's Bible studies, piano and organ accompaniment, and various other ministries, she was a tireless worker. For several years, she served as a leader in Women's Bible Study Fellowship in Anderson.

Martha graduated from Anderson High School in the class of 1938. After high school, she graduated from a local business college. Later in life, she worked in the office of the city clerk of Anderson. Other civic-minded associations included the Anderson Chapter 154 of the Order of the Eastern Star and the John Birch Society. In 1968, she was a delegate to the National Women's Republican Convention.

Martha will always be remembered for her Christian servant spirit and the wonderful example to her family, which she loved dearly. She was the wife of Willis Ellsworth for 44 years, now deceased, and a sister to Wayne Kinley (deceased) and Mary Hampton who currently resides in Colona, IL.

Surviving members of the family include sons Richard Ellsworth and his wife Dianne, David Ellsworth and wife Rebecca; grandchildren Quinn (Zachary) Daniels; Shelby (Daniel) Crouse; Ryan (Christine) Ellsworth and Lucas Ellsworth; nieces Susan Hampton, Sarah (James) Fronczek; Jean (Craig) Stratton; Jeanine Stassen; Julie (Alan) Kelly and extended families.

The funeral service will be held at Bethany Christian Church at the corner of Cross Street and Rangeline Road, Anderson on Saturday, November 10 with calling hours from 10 - 11 a.m. and a celebration of Martha at 11 am. A graveside service will be held at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.

Memorial contributions may be given to Bethany Christian Church or Gideon's International.
