MOLINE - Evelyn M. Albracht, 92, of Moline, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010, at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf. She will always be remembered as a great lady whose family meant the world to her. Happily married for 64 years, she and her husband Sylvester were the ultimate love story. Her energy, kindness and caring were amazing. She loved conversation, cooking, dancing and playing rolle bolle, and believed that cleanliness was next to godliness. She was the kind of mom and grandma every young person would be lucky to have. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St. A., Moline. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Her family requests memorials to be made to Seton School.

Evelyn was born October 25, 1917, in Mineral, Ill., the daughter of Mary and Louis DePauw. She married Sylvester Albracht on May 4, 1946, in Moline.

Evelyn was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Moline, Sacred Heart Altar and Rosary Society, East End Club, Moline, and Friends Circle Club, Moline.

Survivors include her husband, Sylvester; daughter, Janie Albracht of Rock Island; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Meredith Albracht of Bettendorf; grandchildren, Lauren, Marissa and Madison; sisters, Lillian Vols of Walnut, Ill., Margaret Hugart of Moline, and Bernice Bierman of Moline; and a brother, Irvin DePauw of Mineral.
