He was 23 and the son of James Valentine Parker and Anna May Parker of Brockley.

Deaths Jun 1941 Parker James E 23 Southend 4a 1281

Two low flying German bomber aircraft attacked Southend scoring direct hits on the Nore Yacht club wrecking it and destroying a billet near the airfield killing 10 soldiers, one of whom was James. The other casualties, all from 10th York & Lancaster, were:
