Christina R. Agena, 58 years, rural Adams died in Lincoln, April 13. She was born December 19, 1922 at rural Pickrell. She lived in the Adams area most of her life and was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church near Sterling. She also served as a Sunday school teacher for 15 years.

Survivors include husband, George, four sons, all of Adams; two daughters; 12 grandchildren, five brothers Jurgen Waltke, John C. Waltke both of Pickrell; Ernest of Beatrice; Alfred of Delafield, Wisc.; and Willard of Stromsburg, one step-brother Orland of Greeley, Colo; two sisters Mrs. Elmer (Hannah) Johnson of Beatrice; Mrs. Raymond (Leanna) Mihulka of Bellwood; a step-sister Mrs. Larry (Beatta) Luksik ot Tyndall, fla.; step-mother Mrs. Wilhelmina Waltke of Pickrell.

Preceded in death by her parents, one brother and a sister.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 16 at 1:30 p.m. Immanuel Lutheran church rural Sterling with Russell Hansen officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Cemetery. No public viewing.

Private Family prayer services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday at the Zink Mortuary.

A memorial fund has been established with the church elders in charge.
