He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernhard and Lena (Walters) Agena; his wife, Christina on April 13, 1981; brother, John Agena; sister, Hannah Dorn; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, Immanuel Lutheran Church, west of Sterling, Pastor Mark Follett officiating. Burial: church cemetery. Family prayer service: 1 p.m. Thursday, Zink-Fox Funeral Home, Sterling. Memorial established to the family's choice with Jerry Harms and Charles Bartels in charge. Visitation: until 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary and not at the church. Zink-Fox Funeral Home, Sterling.
