SIMS, RUTH GLOVER Age 89, of Helena passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012. She was a longtime member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and was retired from St. Vincent's Hospital. Her parents, Ezra and Annie Bell Glover and her brothers: Charles Ray Glover (twin), George and James Glover and Joe Williams preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Robert W. Sims; daughters: Belinda McDonald (Jerry) and Sandra Singleton; grandchildren: Corey (Jenna), Andrew and Jeremy McDonald and Brooke Singleton. Mrs. Sims was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who will truly be missed by all. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Ridout's Elmwood Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. >
