Mrs. Nell Trammell died August 14, 1957 at Memorial Hospital after an illness of several years. She was the daughter of Ned A. and Flora Petrie. On June 30, 1930, she was united in marriage with Oren K. Trammell in the First Baptist church in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. The family came to Douglas in 1949. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Don F. of Oroville, Calif., and Kenneth of the family home; her mother, Mrs. Flora Petrie of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Lloyd M. Petrie of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Jack Petrie of Tulsa, Okla.; and four sisters, Mrs. F. J. VerStraten of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. H. E. Schaller of Sulphur, La., Mrs. Buddy Miller of Hartshorn, Okla., and Mrs. Melvin Diehl of Tulsa. Her father preceded her in death. (Information was obtained from her obituary and cemetery records.)
