Flossie Mae Wells was born on March 9, 1934 in Monticello to the late Sam and Charlie Vern Binns.


She departed this life on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at her home.


Mrs. Flossie, as she was affectionately called, attended the Drew High School. She confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Holmes Chapel Presbyterian Church. She was united in holy matrimony to Wilson Wells on June 20, 1953.


She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Binns, Sr; one brother, Charles Binns; and one sister, Shirley Binns Haymon.


Mrs. Flossie is survived by her husband Wilson Wells; one son, Larry Wells (Vicki) of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister, Bobbie Dunlap (Louis) of Monticello; three brothers, Sam Binns, Jr. (Veronica) of Gary IN, Jewel Binns (Brenda) and Calvin Binns (Viola) both of Monticello; two grandsons, Lawrence Wells of Colorado Springs, CO and Michael Binns, Jr. of Bryant; two god-daughters, Ashley Williams-Moses (Patrick) of Sumter, SC and Jessica Williams of Little Rock; a dear family friend, Dwight Hudspeth of Little Rock and a host of relative whom she loved dearly from both the Binns and the Wells families.
