Ed Ross was my 3rd cousin. He had a boat building business on Alamitos Bay and Wilmington. The Long Beach earthquake leveled his building in Wilmington to a pile of bricks my Mother said. His marriage to a younger woman only lasted a short time. Their wedding was in her family home, in the middle of orange groves, off Foothill Blvd near Upland, CA. Ed went to the orient once and brought all of us silk japanese kimonos. When he passed he left me $5000. which was a down payment on my first home. We use to have fun going for rides in boats and playing on the beach. Thanks Ed
