Word has been received from the government that the body of the late T/Sgt. Barnie F. Arnold, son of Mr. & Mrs. James M. Arnold of Diboll, is enroute to Lufkin for re-burial services.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date by the Gipson Funeral Home.
Sgt. Arnold was born November 6, 1921 and had resided there all of his life prior to his entrance into the Air Corps. A graduate of Diboll High School, he was a member of the Methodist church and was formerly employed as a lumber checker by the Southern Pine Lumber Co.
He was killed in Germany, August 24, 1944.
Survivors other than his parents include: 3 brothers, Robert Stanley Arnold of Diboll, M/Sgt. James M. Arnold, Jr. of the U. S. Army in Waco and Sgt. Billy Gene Arnold of the U. S. Army in the Canal Zone; 3 sisters, Miss Annette Arnold of Diboll, Miss Doris Arnold of Houston and Mrs. W. J. Bracker of Longview; and grandmother, Mrs. W. A. Jones of Diboll.
