Paris France. S/Sgt Floyd was the flight engineer on B-17 # 41-25071 Their
target that day was the Air Depot Romilly France. According to eyewitness
Floyd's aircraft was the last in the formation and the easiest to pick off for
the German fighters at about 1310 hrs after making their bomb run they were
attacked at 20000 ft one witness reported explosion near cockpit no chutes were
reported from any of the eyewitness
