SGT. WILLIAM R. DAVIS
Requiem high mass for Sgt. William Reese Davis of 1100 Kenneth Ave., New Kensington, will be sung at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church in New Kensington.

Sgt. Davis was killed in action March 24, 1945, in France. He served with the 681st Glider Battalion Field Artillery of the 17th Airborne.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William C. Davis Jr.; a sister, Mrs. William B. Prigman of New London, Conn., and a brother, James R. Davis.

Friends are being received at the family home.
